I have over thirty five years of experience in wood working and equipment.  I have invested in the best equipment money can buy.  No expense has been spared, and this allows me to offer my customers the best built product possible.  It may be old fashioned, and an out of date business model.  But to me "Its built right" when it can't be done any better.  Why do I do this?  Because, I know the difference.  Its simple old fashion pride and craftsmanship.

To me, the investment of whatever time is required, explaining the differences in framing practices, just makes good business sense. The importance of not just "Presentation", but the need and value of "Preservation" will help insure that your family will enjoy your treasures for many years to come, and in many cases, generations to come. In framing, if it is worth framing it is worth framing well. Usually the difference between low to average quality, and "done right" is insignificant when spread over the numbers of years it will be viewed and enjoyed. Often the cost being less than a meal out, and it will be far longer.

I believe in fair and honest value and pricing. No gimmicks, misleading, and less than honest sales or pricing. You have to wonder, if it is always on sale, is it really ever on sale. 1/2 off of what. When you compare apples to apples, for comparable quality. The things you can see, as well as those you can't. The big boxes will never be able to offer the same value, service, and a finished product that a local custom frame shop can offer. I have no obligation to a parent "Franchise" company.
